Modulo uses your phone's GPS, which is accurate to a few metres in the open. For the best readings, give the app a clear view of the sky and allow a moment after reaching your ball for the position to settle. If a green's numbers are consistently off, the course data may need correcting, see below.
Course positions come from third-party data and from corrections contributed by players. If a course is missing, or a green or hole looks wrong, please tell us the course name and hole number.
Email info@lankchilled.com with the course and hole, and we'll verify and fix the data for everyone.
Modulo needs precise location to calculate distances. If distances aren't updating, check that location access is enabled for Modulo in your device settings and set to precise (not approximate). Passive, anonymous location collection that helps improve course data is optional and can be turned off at any time in the app or your device settings.
The lifetime unlock is a one-off purchase tied to your Apple or Google account. If you reinstall the app or move to a new device, open the app and use Restore Purchases, or sign in with the same store account, and your unlock will return at no extra cost. There is no subscription to cancel.
Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store and Google Play, so refunds are handled through them under their policies. If something went wrong, email us first and we'll help sort it out.
Modulo works without an account and keeps your shot history on your device. To remove passively collected location data associated with your device, or to exercise your privacy rights, email us. See the Privacy Notice for full detail.
If your question isn't covered here, just email info@lankchilled.com and tell us what's happening, including your device and app version if it's a technical issue.
